You're too fit to get sick...
(is honestly the most fucking annoying statement in the world)
Fit has nothing to do with Health.
Health, has nothing to do with Fit.
People can look unbelievably fit, and be the unhealthiest people on the planet. Likewise, those whom may not look "fit" are actually the epidemy of healthy, and are leading examples of what everyone should strive to achieve.
health
/helTH/
noun
1.the state of being free from illness or injury:

Being healthy includes your entire mind, body and soul. When you are healthy, your thoughts are positive, calm and rational. Your body is free of illness and injury. Your sex life is great, your moods are stable, your eating patterns are completely normal and you are free to enjoy life to the fullest. You may not have a chizzled abs, busting biceps, or ab veins; however, also don't have internal illness. Your body isn't breaking down or fighting you on your many demands of it. No. Instead, you are thriving from the inside out.
Healthy people have well functioning organs, digestive systems, and mindsets. They understand their bodily needs, honouring them without question. Healthy people have full control and awareness of their mind, body and soul, and are leading examples for others to inspire to be.
fit
/fit/
adjective
1.of a suitable quality, standard, or type to meet the required purpose:
verb
1.be of the right shape and size for:

Being fit, on the other hand, is all about an appearance and physical ability. Being fit refers to the circumference of your body, the weight and inches of your mass, as well as your physical abilities (like how high you can jump, how much you can squat, how fast you can run).
Some of the fittest people, are the unhealthiest. Competitors are losing their hair, their hormones are out of whack, and their eating patterns are completely disordered. Their moods are all over the place and their libido is non-existent. Marathon runners are crazy fit and lean, but again, they are obsessive compulsive over exercise, their menstrual cycles are often gone, and they tend to go to extremes to perform well and prepare for a race.
Sooo.... tell me again how those people are healthy? Yeah. Fuck that. They aren't. And I'm sorry, but associating those people with Healthy, is incredibly indecent and insincere of us.
People have it so unbelievably ass backwards.
People often want to associate the term Fit with Healthy, and Healthy with Fit; when in reality, the two terms should not dare be associated with one another. Actually, they are at odds. They are enemies more than they are friends.
The healthiest people I've met are not super crazy lean and often wouldn't be associated with the term "fit", based off their physique. Sure, they workout, and you can tell - but they aren't "fit". They cant perform to the extremes that others can, like out squatting 200lb men, or running for hours and hours. They are not walking around at -10% body fat and certainly aren't Bodybuilder-stage lean. However their brains - wow they have the most incredibly profound brains. They listen to their bodies and honour their souls needs.
The fittest people; You know, those who are stage lean, can out squat, out bench, out run, out jump, out exercise, out-restrict both of us, combined - are normally (normally, not indefinitely) mentally and internally fucked. They are often the people dealing with crazy hormonal and organ problems. They are the people with constant brain fog, fatigue and minimal tolerance. Those people, they look like fire. They're hot as hell, and what everyone wants to look like, but they aren't thriving. They look great, but internally, they're often functioning like shit - on auto pilot for a physical appearance.
Don't compare yourself to someone else.
Don't compare your body to other peoples.
Don't feel like you need to be a certain anything, in order to be worthy.
You have no idea what people are struggling with. You have no idea how someone brain is working, what they're thinking, whom they truly are or how they are living.
Are they thriving, or surviving? Do you know? I certainly don't. Truth is:
You just never know.
stay active & stay healthy.
