I know it's hard, honey.
[I get it]
You don't want to fuck up, so you research and research, asking others for opinions, advice, or knowledge. You read books and articles, you google the hell out of anything that may point you in the right direction. You pray and beg God or a spiritual advisor for help.
I get it. You just don't want to fuck up.
You just don't want to make a mistake.
I too, wish making decisions were easier. I too, wish it were easier to recognize the inner-souls wants and needs, without letting the brain interfere or talk you out of something.
I too, wish there were no fears of fucking up, when trying to make a decision.
But what if you couldn't fuck up?
What if you couldn't make a mistake, or a bad choice?
What if, the choice were just a choice, and the decision were just a decision.
No fuck ups. No consequences. No heartaches. No tears. No regrets. No resentments. Just decisions.
But let's be real. It's fucking hard.
It's hard and it's complicated, isn't it?
Do you listen to your brain, and act rationally; or do you follow your gut and heart, and take the path that is more unconventional, or maybe it "makes less sense".
Do you go with Person A's advice, or Person B's advice?
Do you follow the trend, and try to fly with the birds, or do you stray from the flock and rely on your own wings?
This is when it gets more and more confusing. Now, we have rational brain, fighting with internal hearts desires.
[Head V.S Heart]
so what do you choose?

In my humble opinion.
This is where I wish I took my own advice more and just honestly did what I'm about to tell you.
Don't fucking ask others for advice.
For fuck sakes.
Just don't even ask anyone.
It makes everything worse.
Your head was already fighting your heart; and your heart was already fighting your head. Now, you've got Sally, Susan, Karen and Glenda's voices in the back of your head, with 300 opposing opinions, all making valid points to the choice in
front of you. Now, you cant focus on what YOUR brain and heart are saying, because exhibit A, B, C, D, and E have come in to cause a cluster-fucking mayhem of impossible decisions, and overwhelming choices.
You can literally find information backing up any theory, problem or belief that you have. You can find information giving you 100% confidence in something, and also the polar opposite - basically telling you that you're (or what you're looking into) is bat-shit crazy and the worst idea known to human kind.
Research what you want, because you want to research it.
But you also have to take what you want, and leave what you don't.
Absorb the information that hits your soul, and disregard the things that you aren't feeling connected to. Those feelings are there to serve the purpose of your next move, or decision.
People say "Listen to your gut", and theres a reason for that.
Your gut never lies. Your gut knows both your brain and your heart. That little gut-guy works with both the brain and heart, every single day. He filters out the things you absorb both internally and externally, every day. Listen to him. The gut ingests more information, knowledge, food and resources than you even recognize. Your gut has an unbiased opinion and ultimately, will be your best friend when it comes to making tough decisions.

Best advice?
Watch what you want to watch.
Believe what you want to believe.
Listen to your gut.
Don't look back.
Stop searching.
Stop asking.
Stop overanalyzing.
Stop overcomplicating.
Hold onto the feelings and information that resonates with you.
Listen to your fucking gut.
